ABOUT ME

From the cotton fields and hills of Tennessee to the orange groves and sandy beaches of Florida, from the Volunteer State to the Sunshine State, I am defined by both where I grew up and where I chose to live. After coming to Florida in 1964, I consider myself a Floridian by choice but married a native Floridian just to seal the deal.

After a satisfying 30-year career as a Speech Therapist for Orange County Public Schools, I pursued my dream, the art of storytelling. At the Storytellers of Central Florida, I was nurtured, encouraged, critiqued and...Voila!  my dream became a reality.

I am an active member of Storytellers of Central Florida, Florida Storytelling Association and National Storytelling Network.
